Delivery times

Delivery times vary depending on destination, transport method and regulatory procedures. Estimated dispatch and transit times are communicated individually prior to shipment.

As each instrument is handled with care and, where applicable, subject to documentation or export procedures, delivery times should be considered indicative rather than guaranteed.

Taxes, duties and import charges

International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes (including VAT), and other charges imposed by local authorities in the destination country. These costs are not included in the purchase price unless explicitly stated and remain the responsibility of the recipient. Clients are advised to familiarise themselves with local regulations prior to purchase.

Export regulations

Certain instruments and bows may be subject to export restrictions due to their age, origin or cultural significance. In such cases, export licenses or additional documentation may be required before shipment can proceed.

Where applicable, Heartwood Violins will assist in the preparation of necessary documentation; however, processing times are determined by relevant authorities and may affect delivery schedules.

Insurance

Shipments over one hundred euro are insured according to the declared value of the instrument or item. Risk of loss or damage during transit is governed by our shipping partner.
